"Burnout whispers first," hit me like a rock thrown from an unseen bystander today. I literally had to sit down and evaluate why the entire list had to be done today. It didn't. In fact what I needed more than anything was working on nothing that was on the list.
So so true. I was busy rushing with house chores today and felt stressed keeping up. Snuck out to the garden shed - meditated for 5 minutes then all well. Thanks for the reminder I'll drop link to this in my newsletter tomorrow.
I like the parasympathetic recovery list with diff times and suggestions. When I taught yoga I found that 5 min could work miracles on the parasympathetic
I recorded this 5 min yoga sequence specifically for that short-on-time decompression. It's so effective. I'm going to do it again now! https://youtu.be/u3C6v4PjGjI?si=LgbBzDQAYEIM1DhD PS Lolly is my nickname. Thus Lynn at Lake Como Yoga
I'm so thankful that 5 minutes can make such a difference. Sometimes all I have is 5 minutes. I am also thankful for homeopathic Ignatia Amara and Aurum Metallicum. Life's edges really gouge sometimes (often), and I feel the need to recalibrate.

Wow, Stacy. What a powerful visual.
It can be easy to just keep going, can’t it? I hope you found even a few minutes to do nothing on the list. ✨
Burnout whispers first, then it certainly roars. Breaks are so important. Thank you.
Absolutely! I’ve learned this lesson the hard way.

Absolutely. So often we get stuck thinking that the amount of time we have won’t make a difference.
