Relatable, especially the part where you almost have to hit rock bottom to realise that you can't do it alone and it's actually ok to ask for help, the fear of rejection, etc. I've definitely been there and just like you two, I've gotten better but it's still a journey!
It’s a bit mind boggling that it takes getting to that point for so many of us! But it seems to be the wake-up call we need to try a different way of living.
Ah what a great post, and a great guest in Chris! This is a much needed message, particularly for myself. For the first time in a while, I found myself seeking help over the summer. Initially it felt shameful, that I couldn't manage on my own - but now I realise - we're not meant to!
Wasn’t he great?! I’m glad you found the support you needed, and I can certainly relate to the initial shame. We are absolutely not meant to do everything on our own, but that’s not the message that the culture gives us, is it?
Thank you so much for having me on as a guest! I really enjoyed our conversation on such an important topic.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. I loved hearing how both of you have struggled with asking for help and how much easier it is to do the ask.
Thanks for listening Mika!
